Focus and Scope
Networking Knowledge is an e-journal published by the MeCCSA-Postgraduate Network. The Network brings together around 400 postgraduate and early-career researchers in the fields of media, communications, and cultural studies. The aim of Networking Knowledge is to provide a space where the best work of this thriving postgraduate community can be showcased.
Supported by the MeCCSA-PGN Executive Committee, Networking Knowledge aims to publish at least one issue per year based on work arising from the annual MeCCSA-PGN Conference. Further specifically-themed issues - featuring contributions from guest editors - are published throughout the year in order to cater for more specific research interests.
Although only featuring the work of postgraduate and early-career researchers, Networking Knowledge aims to encourage open debate across all levels of scholarship.

Peer Review Process
Contributions are firstly read by the editor(s) in order to assess their relevance to the theme of the issue. Following this, articles are sent anonymously to two peer reviewers from the Editorial Board. If one recommends acceptance and the other rejection, a tie-breaking third reviewer (from the journal's Advisory Board) will be consulted.
The role of the reviewer is to ensure articles are as good as they can be, ensuring that the author benefits from the feedback and revision process.
Generally, Networking Knowledge aims for a quick turnaround in the review process, and authors will be informed of decisions in no more than two months.
Open Access Policy
This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
